Mix and match the colors of the flowers and the place cards, and each person can have a different design. They may look like a lot of work, but once you fold the paper, it is only one or two snips with some scissors and the whole flower is cut out. It is fun to open it up and see what it is going to look like. Get the kids to help make them, and you will have heaps made in no time.
These can be used as name cards to let the guests know where to sit, or you can print out verses to glue inside that each person can read around the table. Another option is to let everyone write why they are grateful for Easter--the most important day in all of history! Don’t forget to provide pens or pencils.
Make a paper wreath for Easter, and you can use it to decorate a door, or as a centerpiece for the dinner table. Cover some cardboard with green paper. Then cut out a bunch of paper flowers to decorate it. Even the bow and stand are made from paper.
Easter decorations wouldn’t be complete without something to tell the real reason for the season. Make a 3-D paper cross out of 4 sheets of paper, or make a sign that proclaims, “He is risen!!” If you buy a sign, you are stuck with what someone else thinks of. If you make it yourself, you can make it say anything you want. Keep it short so it is quick to make and quick to read, and easy to remember.
