It is so easy to make these cute little candy cups. Simply cut strips of paper and staple them to two sides of a muffin liner to form a handle. These are really flimsy, so put them on the table before filling them with candy. The more details you have the more interesting the arrangement looks, so layer a colorful napkin on the dinner plate, but the dessert plate on top, then put the candy cup on top of that.

A cross is a simple way to symbolize the death of Jesus. But the resurrection (the whole reason for celebrating Easter) is much harder to illustrate. What better way to represent the resurrection than with an Easter garden depicting the whole scene? It can cost next to nothing to make if you have even a small yard to dig up dirt. Find a flat stone, and pick up sticks to make 3 crosses. I even used weeds to make the greenery in the garden! You can use an empty can or plastic cup to form the grave and a pile a bit of mud on top. The only thing you need to buy is a plastic tray, but if you have an old baking pan or tray that you were going to throw away anyway, you can make the whole thing for free! The purple table runner and ribbon make it look more festive, but are totally optional. Perhaps an even better way to depict the resurrection is to make an EDIBLE Easter garden--that will make everyone happy, and will feel like a real celebration with a special dessert to finish!
