This nativity set is actually an advent wreath. It is divided into 4 parts; each is a scene from the Christmas story. It has a place to put 4 candles for the 4 Sundays in the advent season.

Since it is divided into 4 parts, I put it on a lazy suzan to make it easier to clear off the table. It also allowed the guests to turn it around to see all 4 scenes.

I made a swag of 2 white Christmas trees and pink poinsettias to lighten up the dark colors of the nativity advent wreath.

Since the advent wreath came in 4 sections, I was able to arrange it as if it were a regular nativity set. One year I put it next to the small Christmas trees in my son’s room.

When the lights on the trees were lit, it gave off a warm glow for the nativity set as well.

If you have a shelf near the bathtub, you can display an inexpensive set that can serve both as a Christmas decoration and as a bath toy.

One year I put the resin nativity figures in the bay window in the foyer. Since it did not fill up the whole window, I put white Christmas trees decorated with pink ornaments on the opposite side to match the rest of the decorations in the foyer. The window turned black at night, and reminded us of the night Jesus was born when the angels appeared to the shepherds to announce His birth.
