Pentecost celebrates the beginning of the Christian church--it’s birthday. This day commemorates when the Holy Spirit filled Jesus’ disciples, and when they preached, thousands of people from many countries believed and became Christians. Pentecost is observed on the seventh Sunday after Easter.
