Counting Sheep or Angels Scorer
There are lots of sheep and angels in the Christmas story. The team that can fill the sky with angels, or fill the grass with sheep wins the review game. Award each correct answer with a sheep or angel. Asking review questions in a game format adds a bit of fun to the class. Each team can have their own scene to fill, or one team can collect sheep, and the other team can collect angels in the same scene.
How to make the games:
1.Fold a piece of green paper off center for the grass. Cut the taller side to look like rolling hills. Glue this green sheet to a black sheet (the night sky), but be sure to leave the top inch unglued for a place to fasten on the figures.
2.Print out the sheet with sheep and angels. Color them in if you like.
3.Cut out the figures. You will need one figure per question, so if there are not enough figures, print out more sheets.
4.Tape paper clips to the backs of the sheep and angels. Glue the shepherds to the pasture to complete the scene.
Let the children choose and place a figure on their team’s pasture for each review question that is answered correctly.
