This wooden set comes with a wooden stable that doubles as a storage box. When open, it is less than 2 inches deep, so it is great for hanging on a wall, allowing you to displaying a nativity set in a small room that otherwise would not be able to have a nativity set as there are no shelves or table top to put a standing set.

Since the doors of this stable do open and close, it is also able to stand up, not just hang, so it is perfect for a corner in the kitchen, where it won’t take up much room. Some fresh rosemary gives the effect of trees growing in the background.

Since it is a wooden set, it is also great for decorating a young child’s room. My mother-in-law gave this to my first child when she was two years old so she could have a nativity set to play with. Amazingly, we haven’t lost any pieces, so when she has her first child, her toddler can play with it, too.
