Putting a small nativity set in empty corner of a kitchen counter might not get in your way, and will certainly spread some holiday cheer. If it seems too bare by itself, add a poinsettia or two.

If you are lucky enough to have a bay window, whether in your kitchen or other places, it is a great out-of-the-way place to decorate for Christmas. Even if it is narrow, a small nativity set will still fit.

A bathroom is another place that can be decorated for Christmas. Even though there is no counter space in this bathroom, there is still a corner on the sink where a small nativity set will fit.

A night stand next to a child’s bed is another good place to put a small nativity set. Just be sure the child is old enough leave it alone and not to carry it around and drop it--this is a decoration, not a toy, since it is ceramic. If your child is too young, use a wooden or plastic set instead.

A bay window jam packed with lots of decorations, reminiscent of a country store, is a place where a small nativity set could be tucked in to be a reminder of the reason for the season.
