Red sticks add a pop of color and touch of elegance to any space. They look best against a white background. Pair them with a poinsettia, and candles to better fill out the space and add some interest. These were purchased at a dollar store. One package looked sparse, so I bought two. Craft stores may sell these as well. If you can’t find them either place, look for sticks outdoors--dry them, then spray paint them red. Because they are so tall, it is easy to tip over. To prevent this, buy a bag of small white rocks at a dollar store or craft store and drop them into the vase between the sticks and the glass. The extra weight anchors them and makes it harder to tip over.

Use red sticks instead of flowers to make an sophisticated centerpiece. They are tall , but because they are narrow at the bottom, they don’t get in the way of conversations like a big vase of flowers might.

Red sticks can fill an empty corner of a bedroom. They add a splash of color in an otherwise undecorated part of the room

Kitchens can be a hard place to decorate for Christmas. These red stick splay out to add color to a large section of space that would otherwise be empty if only a poinsettia or candles sat on the counter. Even so, the counter space that is taken up is quite small. A red towel continues the red and white theme in the kitchen.
