Seasons > Valentine’s Day > Ways To Celebrate Valentine’s Day With Kids > Secret Valentine
Here is a fun way to teach your children to think about other people. The week or two before Valentine’s Day, everyone writes their names on pieces of paper and have a drawing. Until Valentine’s day, do as many nice things for the other person as possible, but keep it a secret. Then on Valentine’s day, have a “reveal” party or ceremony. If your children (or husband!) need ideas for what to do, each person can write a list of their favorite things along with their names in the bowl, or post lists on the refrigerator.
