Seasons > Christmas > Decorations for the home > How to Decorate with Nativity sets > Resin Nativity Set with Ceramic Village
I like this set because it shows Jesus being born in the middle of a village with people going about their daily lives, unaware that the savior of the universe has been born. However, the sheer size of this set makes it challenging to find a good place to display it. The top of the piano in our living room could only accommodate half of it! Ironically, the most spacious place I found to display it was the desk in my son’s room...the least visible/accessible place in the house! At least he got to enjoy it that year.
Another time I displayed this large nativity set in a bay window in the foyer. It looked pretty good, but it is almost impossible to get a good photograph of it since it is in front of a window.
I used boards and a brown blanket to build a “hill” for the village so that all the houses would fit inside the bay window.
