Double stick tape substitute for making 3-D Cards

Cut a short strip of paper and glue the ends together to form a ring.

Press the ring flat.

Open the ring.

Fold the ring again, this time with the fold the distance from the fold that you would like the distance you would like the item to stick out from the card.

When you open the ring this time, it should be a rectangle.

Glue this rectangle to the back of your figure, then glue the other side of the rectangle to the background.

When craft instructions call for double stick foam style tape, but you don’t have any, use this simple technique to create raised designs.
