Just for reference, this is the original photo shown on the previous page.

This variation changes the apple basket with a basket of pine cones.

This arrangement changed a persimmon for the pumpkin.

A jack-o-lantern replaced the pumpkin and persimmon in this version.

The metal tree replaced the candle stand, and the floral pick moved to the table top.

The jack-o-lantern is moved to the top shelf, and a chair with an orange votive candle are added.

The jack-o-lantern is moved to the chair, and the floral pick is moved to the top shelf.

An orange taper candle is added to the floral pick on the top, and the chair and jack-o-lantern are removed.

Wooden pumpkin and cat clips for holding photos or messages are added to the shelf.

A berry wreath is hung from a stand where the chair was.

A black metal tree stands on the side next to the shelf where the berry wreath was.

The berry wreath replaces the candle on the top shelf.

All these variations are shown to give you ideas of the kinds of decorations you can look for--if you can’t find a glass candle holder, you might be able to find an orange votive candle, or an orange taper candle. If you can’t find a ceramic jack-o-lantern, you might be able to find a persimmon, or pumpkin, or wooden jack-o-lantern clip. A chair, or berry wreath, or metal tree are all interchangeable decorative items, even though they are not alike at all. Where ever you live, you can probably find cute seasonal decorations. Just keep rearranging them until you like the way they look. Then next year you can rearrange them for a different look.

These 12 arrangements may look identical at first glance, but they actually use different objects. Look more closely for ideas about the kinds of things you might use for an arrangement of your own.
